Our Merzouga sunrise desert camel trek start early, usually around 5:30 AM, depending on the season. Our local camel guide will meet you at your camp or hotel and hand you get ready for the ride. We begin our journey into the Erg Chebbi dunes, riding camels through the soft, golden sand under the early morning stars.
After around 45 minutes of peaceful riding, we stop at the top of a high dune erg Chibbe From here, you’ll watch the sun slowly rise over the horizon, lighting up the Sahara Desert in shades of gold, orange, and pink. It’s a quiet, magical moment that feels like a dream. This is also a great time to take beautiful souvenirs photos and videos.
After the sun is fully up, we ride the camels back to your Merzouga desert camp or hotel. The return journey is just as peaceful, as the morning light makes the desert look completely different than at sunset.
